It is important to understand that whilst we naturally respect the achievements and aims of The Tasmanian Gay and Lesbian Rights group, the GLC is an independent organisation. The GLC Centre currently publishes the monthly newsletter CENTRELINES, the annual TASMANIAN GAY AND LESBIAN BUSINESS SERVICE DIRECTORY, sponsors the annual QUEENS BIRTHDAY BALL, stages a variety of other social events, maintains links with other organisations throughout Tasmania and other states and sponsors individuals and groups who encourage self-esteem in gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and trangendered people Membership is open to anyone, regardless of their sexuality, who agrees to abide by the Rules of the Association. |
