Artfully Queer Exhibition - (UN) MASKED
The 2008 4th Annual Artfully Queer Exhibition presented
by the Gay and Lesbian Community Centre Inc (GLCC) was opened by Tina
Fiveash, one of Australia’s leading photomedia artists, on 19
September. The exhibition includes 43 works by 24 individual artists
plus two collective artworks, (un)masked, a rainbow of 35 decorated
masks, and badge, created by queer youth.
The exhibition is on display at the following locations:

TasPride 2008
1-16 November
TasPride 2008 will include 15-20 events accross the sate ranging
in size from 50 to 1,000 capacities which aim to appeal to the entire
GLBTI community and their supporters. The TasPride Committee will
present several parties, a variety night, historical tour, films and
a picnic day. A call for registered events to the Tasmanian arts,
cultural and GLBTI communities will additionally target activities
in the areas of performing arts, literary, music and sports. Watch
